Article 1 CYCU Chang Ching Yu Memorial Library (hereafter referred to as “the Library”) formulates the Borrowing Lockable Umbrella Rack Guidelines (hereafter referred to as “the Guidelines”) in order to facilitate patrons to place umbrellas before entering the Library.
Article 2 The Library provides lockable umbrella rack service and the patron is responsible to keep the key.
Article 3 If patron deliberately or accidentally damages umbrella rack or other patron’s umbrella, he / she will be responsible for compensation.
Article 4 CYCU students, faculty, staff and patrons with borrowing privileges are qualified to borrow keys to use Lockable Umbrella Rack. Patron, with a Library authorized ID card, may apply for the service and get a key at Entrance and Reception Desk on Library 2nd floor.
Article 5 Patron may borrow Lockable Umbrella Rack free of charge and can borrow only one each time. Umbrella must be taken away before Library closes.
Article 6 Starting from 3rd day of the due date, umbrellas which are left on Lockable Umbrella Rack will be removed to Library Entrance and Reception Desk. Starting from 21st day of the due date, those umbrellas will be declared lost and Library is not liable for loss or damage.
Article 7 Patron who borrows Lockable Umbrella Rack is required to return key when finishes. Starting from 3rd day of the due date, patron will be fined five (5) NT dollars for each day up to a maximum of one hundred (100) NT dollars. Patron’s all borrowing privileges will be terminated before fines are paid off.
Article 8 During loan period, patron may go to Library Entrance and Reception Desk for help (identity check required) if he / she forgets to bring the key.
Article 9 Paton who loses key is required to pay one hundred (100) NT dollars for replacement. Library will terminate user’s right of borrowing book or related before pay off the fines.
Article 10 In order to assure public safety and hygiene, Library is entitled to take necessary actions on beverage, food, or dangerous / illegal items placed on Lockable Umbrella Rack. Violator’s borrowing privilege will be terminated for one (1) month.
Article 11 Guidelines go into effect when passed by Library Coordinate Meeting.
