第一條 目的
為建立優質的中外文圖書館藏，滿足師生教學研究與學習之需求，落實本校全人教育理念，提昇文化素養，特訂定本準則。
第二條 選書準則
第三條 選書深度層次表
訂定選書深度層次為4級如下：
| 深度層次 | 說 明 |
|---|---|
| 「1」充分購備 | 有出版就採購。 |
| 「2」擇優選購 | 經過挑選的重要性作品及次要著者的作品，選書量以不超過該類出版品60%為原則。 |
| 「3」精緻選購 | 經過挑選的代表性作品，選書量以不超過該類出版品20%為原則。 |
| 「4」排除選購 | 不予挑選。 |
第四條 圖書類別
參考「中國圖書分類法」與「美國國會圖書分類法」，分為22個類別訂定選書層次，依序陳述如下：
