- 【Proxy Rewrite Method】
Retired faculty and alumni who have applied for borrowing privileges can access some vendor-authorized databases outside of the campus by clicking the Proxy Rewrite link.
For example：https://0-dl-acm-org.cylis.lib.cycu.edu.tw/ .
When you click the link for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your library account information for authentication.
Here are some examples for Proxy Rewrite url：

You may also manually convert the URLs of the electronic resources subscribed by the university into Proxy Rewrite URLs. Take the Airiti Library as an example:

0-to the beginning of the original domain - Replace all
.in the domain with- - Append
.cylis.lib.cycu.edu.twto the end of the domain

Some electronic resource websites do not support this connection method. Access may be denied, or the webpage may not display correctly.
If you encounter this situation, please access the resources via a VPN connection instead.
Retired faculty members, retired staff, and alumni with borrowing privileges may also use this method to access certain vendor-authorized databases off-campus, such as:

Please visit VPN website ( provided by Office of Digital Technology ) and install VPN Client according to your computer operating system.
After finishing setup as the instructons, you can log in with your itouch account / password and then you will be able to access database as on-campus.
- Access directly. For example: Web of science https://www.webofknowledge.com/wos
- Link to Search all e-resouces titles to browse e-resource titles
- When the assignment is done, please remember to click “disconnect” to log out
