• Guidelines

Library will process donations according to "The CYCU Chang Ching Yu Memorial Library Resource Development Policy" and "Chung Yuan Christian University Chang Ching Yu Memorial Library Book and Materials Donation Guidelines". Items that Library decides not to accept will be distributed or discarded.

• What to Accept
  • Official publications of educational institutions, organizations, and individuals.
  • Items that have value or are suitable for library collection.
  • CYCU these and dissertations.

• Procedure

1. Contact us：
   • Ms. Tsai-Ying Liao
     Acquisition and Cataloguing Division
     Library, Chung Yuan Christian University
     200 Chung Pei Road, Chung Li District, Tao Yuan City,
     Taiwan, ROC
2. ​Deliver to Us：
   • In person : drop to donation box at Library 1st floor (see picture below). 
          
   • By mail : ship to Ms. Liao (as above) and mark “Donation”on package.
   • Others : Contact Library to arrange delivery.
3. Verification Process :
   • Accept : registered and cataloged
   • Distribute or discard :
     • Items do not comply with Library resources development policy.
     • Items with lines, annotation, or head notes.
     • Library already owns the maximum number of copies.
     • Items contain inappropriate contents (provocative, sexual, obscure…etc.).
     • Items are obsolete or have insignificant value.
     • Books are damaged or incomplete.
4. Contact：

After reviewing the donated items, Library will send a thank you letter or receipt of donation upon donor’s request.
